UST Closure Oversight Checklist

This checklist provides a quick review of the requirements to project managers who provide oversight at UST closure/removal projects. Their efforts, along with those of environmental consultants, ensure appropriate soil/groundwater sampling methods and proper data collection. Not only does this optimize content in the UST closure report, but a presence in these early stages can allow access to the State Fund for cleanup, a seamless transition for longer term monitoring, and can support future site closure.

ASTSWMO Common UST Compliance Violations (CCV) Report Story Map

The ASTSWMO Release Prevention Task Force continues to conduct information requests for data collection on compliance violations found during UST inspections conducted by State UST programs. Previous data collection results from 2010, 2012, and 2014 are available on the ASTSWMO website at: UST Common Compliance Violations Reports The Release Prevention Task Force summarizes the information they receive into another report with recommendations on actions they can take to improve compliance rates in the future.
